No good selection of vegetables and the trays were empty. Stayed one night on our way back to Canada. Next time, I am staying in town and will recommend my coworkers who travel to do the same. She was great and we had a nice time hanging out with our group (otherwise bar was empty). The redeeming quality was the bartender in Ruthies. We drove to downtown Sioux Falls for dinner - everyone enjoyed getting out. Breakfast buffet was ok, nothing special. Pool area looks nice so a visit in the summer may be more interesting. Casino floor is smoking, but that did not carry to the rooms. Rooms were available so got a room, but I have never been charged an early check in at other hotels or received such pushback when asking. Asked for early check in and was told it would be $10.
Arrived around 1 and asked for a room (had a reservation), was told in a relatively unfriendly way check in was 3. If you are a gambler, this place is probably good, but I prefer more options when on business travel. First, the rooms are a nice size and have good accommodations.
